Lets face it, even late 70's Fenders are hard to find this clean. Add to that a nice broad-grained swamp ash body and a figured maple neck and you've got an even cooler bass. As if that weren't enough the bass plays and sounds great and includes both covers & the original warranty card/owner's manual. The bass does weigh 10 3/4 lbs but it's not a boat anchor like some 12 pounders I have played recently. Even though it's super clean this is a bass that I would not hesitate to play on a regular bass-is. Everything is 100% original, the neck is clean and straight with like-new frets and it includes an original USA Bullet molded case. The owner chose that case because it had a lower profile and it is in beautiful shape with no warping or missing chunks and all the latches and hinges are unmolested.
